Who We Are
Rice Bowl Recordings is an independent EDM label founded in 2017 by Vince Blakk and Davin Duke, built on a shared passion for melodic, emotional and forward thinking electronic dance music.
From the beginning, the label has focused on music with a strong identity, clear melodies and a sound designed for DJs, listeners and long term catalog value. What started as an independent label project has gradually evolved into a wider creative ecosystem, connecting music production, artist development, promotion, visual identity, digital services and long term catalog strategy.
Davin Duke has not been part of Rice Bowl Recordings since 2019. Since 2022, the label has been fully owned and directed by Vince Blakk, who continues to lead its artistic direction, release selection, A&R vision and overall development.
In 2025, Rice Bowl Recordings was officially incorporated as Rice Bowl Recordings LLC in Wyoming, USA, marking a new professional chapter for the label and strengthening its long term international structure.
Today, Rice Bowl Recordings delivers melodic and forward thinking electronic dance music across Trance, Progressive, Melodic House & Techno, Chillout, Ambient, Dance, Tech House and Deep House. The label works with artists worldwide and operates with a clear focus on quality releases, Beatport visibility, worldwide distribution, promotional development and long term catalog growth.
Rice Bowl Recordings is the mother label of a wider music network. Its main catalog remains focused on the label’s most representative, emotional and internationally oriented releases, while its sublabels expand the sound into darker, warmer, deeper and more specialized directions.

Vince Blakk is the co-founder, sole owner and artistic director of Rice Bowl Recordings. He leads the label’s creative direction, release selection, A&R strategy and long term development.
As a music producer, mixing and mastering engineer, and founder of the wider Rice Bowl ecosystem, Vince oversees both the musical and strategic identity of the label.
Tim “Timmy” Mitchell
Promo & Releases Lead
Tim “Timmy” Mitchell supports the label’s release and promotional workflow, helping Rice Bowl Recordings manage key promotional steps and release related operations.
His role is connected to the practical side of getting music ready, organized and presented properly across the label’s promotional channels.

Alana Parsons is the resident DJ and presenter of Rice Bowl Sessions, the official radio and DJ mix series of Rice Bowl Recordings.
Through regular episodes, she showcases current and catalog releases from Rice Bowl Recordings alongside selected external music aligned with the label’s melodic, progressive and trance-focused identity.
Her role supports the label’s radio presence, artist promotion and audience development, connecting Rice Bowl Recordings with listeners through curated DJ sets and future broadcast partnerships.
Alejandra Tovar
Operations & Administration
Alejandra Tovar supports Rice Bowl Recordings through operations and administration, helping maintain the organizational side of the label and its connected projects.
Her role contributes to the internal structure that allows the label to operate with more clarity, consistency and long term focus.
Marely Blakk
Creative Direction, Visual Design, Multimedia & Merchandise Management
Marely Blakk contributes to the visual and creative identity of the Rice Bowl ecosystem, with a focus on design, multimedia direction and merchandise related development.

Kostas W. Voulgaris supports Rice Bowl Recordings in A&R and artist relations, helping the label discover, evaluate and develop new music from artists worldwide.
His role strengthens the connection between the label and its artists, supporting the selection process and the growth of the catalog.
