5. AI Generated Music Policy
Does Rice Bowl Recordings accept AI generated music?
Rice Bowl Recordings does not accept tracks that are fully generated by AI from start to finish.
The use of AI as a supporting production tool may still be acceptable when the track remains fundamentally created, produced and artistically directed by a human artist.
Does Rice Bowl Recordings screen submitted music for AI generated content?
Yes. As part of our A&R review process, submitted music may be screened using SH Labs AI detection technology before a release proceeds to production.
AI screening is used as an internal review tool and does not automatically determine whether a submission is accepted or rejected.
What happens if a track is flagged during AI screening?
If a submission produces a suspicious or inconclusive result, our A&R team may request additional information, production evidence or clarification from the artist before proceeding.
A flagged result does not automatically mean that a track will be rejected. Final decisions are made by Rice Bowl Recordings following human review.

We believe music should reward genuine artistic work, production skills, creativity and human involvement.
